Reconstructing the Past: AI-Driven Robotic Restoration aims to integrate archaeology, artificial intelligence and art to achieve the regeneration and inheritance of ancient culture.
First, we use AI to generate images to recreate ancient famous paintings. Second, we obtain the robot arm painting path through edge detection and vector path conversion. Finally, the robot arm paints with high precision.
This project is an attempt to integrate ancient and modern ancient paintings. The wider application scenarios include ancient painting restoration, partial repainting, etc. We can not only quickly complete the repainting and restoration of ancient paintings with AI, but also provide stable physical painting support with the help of robotic arms.
